Looking for a quieter PC or better cooling while you play? Choose a CPU cooler for the processor or a case fan to move air through the tower.

Which cooling setup can I install?

For a CPU cooler, identify the socket and required mounting kit. Ask whether the necessary backplate, brackets and screws are included.

Compare cooler height with the case limit and check space above the memory modules. For a radiator, allow for its thickness with the fans fitted.

Check fan size and connector type. Tell us whether you want to reduce noise or keep the system cool under a sustained load.

Include the processor, motherboard, case, current cooler and what you want to improve in terms of noise or temperature.
