To add Wi-Fi or an Ethernet port, start with your router and the space available inside the PC.

How should I connect my PC?

For wired networking, check the port speed on your router or switch. For Wi-Fi, include the access point model and how far it is from the PC.

For a PCIe card, check the free slot and bracket height. An M.2 Wi-Fi module needs a slot that supports its particular interface.

Confirm antennas are included and a driver exists for your system. Bluetooth on some Wi-Fi cards uses a separate internal USB cable.

Include your PC model, operating system, desired connection type and router or switch model.
